Life is hard. I don’t say that to be negative, but because it is a fact. Our Heavenly Father never promised any of us any easy life, only that He would be with us through the hard times. Those challenging times offer us the opportunity to grow spiritually and cultivate an even deeper, more intimate relationship with the Lord. That is often the greatest gift in the hardship – at least this has been my experience. Still, when we are in the midst of the storm’s of our lives it can be very difficult if not seemingly impossible to rise above our heartache, pain and suffering. To do that we need God’s help – we need God’s grace. We need His Everlasting Arms to enfold us in His most perfect and divine love – and we find God and His love when we go to Him in prayer.
I could talk to you for a very long time about prayer, because it is such an important part of my life. But what I really want to do in this post is to share a prayer I wrote with you. This prayer was written at a very difficult time in my own life. This particular prayer is all about God’s Love. I have found in my own life that when I am down, troubled, fearful or worried that this particular prayer has helped me to overcome the enemy as I allow the Light and Love of my Heavenly Father to wash over me.
I titled this prayer,”A Most Perfect and Divine Love”, because that is the truth we need to remember when we are in a place of negativity and fear – God loves us with a perfect and divine love. We are safe in Him no matter how much the storm around us rages. We need to remember how much God loves us…remember His promises…allow the presence of His Divine Love and Light to fill our hearts, minds, souls and life. I find when I do that, the dark clouds lift and I am able to find new strength, think more clearly and move forward to face whatever I must.
Use this prayer in any way that works best for you, but I use it as a meditation. So that you can easily do that as well rather than simply write out the prayer, I’ve recorded it as a five minute mp3. Take a few deep breaths, clear your mind and still your thoughts. As I read the prayer to you, close your eyes and allow the words to soak deep into your mind, heart and spirit. Imagine you are in God’s Arms and He is loving you … comforting you … strengthening you.
Before I go, there is one thing I’d really like for you to do for me after you listen…let me know if you found this recorded prayer useful. Did it help you or benefit you in any way? If so, please comment below, leave me a message on Facebook or at least click that little “like” icon at the end of this post. I’d like to know if recorded prayers are something you’d like me to continue to share with you from time to time. Please let me know your thoughts. You will find the prayer vocal right here ….
Let us pray:
Love to you..,
